Scotland's COVID-19 deaths have reached their highest level since the beginning of the pandemic, with over 80 deaths recorded this week. The vast majority of deaths occurred in hospitals, accounting for 86 of the total. Care homes also saw a significant increase, with 14 fatalities. An additional four deaths were reported in homes or non-institutional settings.
